Welcome to WCOB FC

I want to extend congratulations to your child for earning a spot on next year’s Wizard Cadence OB FC (“WCOB”) teams and welcome you to the club - and for many of you it’s welcome back!

On behalf of WCOB’s trainers and coaches, please know we couldn't be happier your child is a member of the club and the select group of excellent players who make-up each WCOB team. We’re truly excited about the upcoming year and already hard at work preparing for the upcoming season.

With that said, believe it or not, the league registration deadlines for next season are already upon us. So please take the following steps to complete the registration forms on-line for your child no later than this July 1st:

Step 1: Initial Payment

An initial deposit payment of $945 is due. You can make payment to John Roberts via:

Credit Card (through League Apps)

If you require a payment plan, please reach out to John Roberts at JaRoberts@venable.com to set this plan up. Payment plans include a $50 administration fee to set-up.

You may also complete the Financial Assistance option and we will contact you with additional steps.

To avoid any additional fees within League Apps, you must make a payment via Zelle, Venmo or check prior to the end of each month.

Important information:

Accounting processes Zelle & Venmo payments through League Apps on the 1st of each month. If you make a payment on or after the 1st of each month via Zelle or Venmo, you will also be charged on the 7th within League Apps as well as the additional League App fees. We can process a refund for the additional charge, however, League Apps will not refund the additional processing fee.

Step 2: Complete Forms

Download all the required documents below and complete each form.

For the NISL Player Registration form, you can leave the team name, age and Pass ID# sections blank. We’ll complete those sections for you. If you have more than one son in the program, please note these forms need to be completed for each child. It is VERY IMPORTANT you complete these forms with your most up to date contact information because we will populate your designated email address to the distribution list we use to send out club wide announcements, including notifications about games, practices, weather related delays or cancellations and other administrative matters that pop-up during the course of the year.

It is recommended to download to a computer.

Step 3: League Apps

If you’re new to the club, you’ll need to create a LEAGUEAPP account and download the LEAGUEAPP App to your phone so it’s at your fingertips throughout the season.

The league apps Registration link will be sent by John Roberts as part of your congratulations email to register your child to a specific team. Due to player commitment's, this is an estimate on the team he will play for in the upcoming season, and it may change if we are unable to fill the roster. 2026-27 Wizard Cadence OB FC Boys Registration

During registration, please choose the option "Pay Later".

You will need the above "Required" forms completed, your child's birth certificate, and a passport style headshot of your child to complete the registration within League Apps.

Step 4: Uniforms

For the 2026/27 season we will be using the same uniforms as last year so you do NOT need to order any uniforms this year unless you are new to the club or you are a returning player who has outgrown their uniform. For those who need new uniforms, the uniform package includes home and away jerseys, a practice jersey, black shorts, socks and the personalized backpack all the kids love. If your son is a new player to the club or a returning player who wishes to change their number, please email me your son’s top three number choices in preference order and I will assign his top choice that is available.

Additionally, all players may order extra socks, practice jerseys, shorts, etc…so the person doing the laundry in your house has some breathing room if you so choose. The gray jersey is the practice jersey so you may want to order more than one for this reason. I highly recommend when ordering your son’s uniforms you error on the side of ordering on the larger size as this will provide him with some room to grow. Generally, YS and YM fit U7, U8, U9 and U10 players well whereas YM, YL and YXL tend to fit players who are U11, U12 and U13. Older players are generally AS, AM and AL. If you have any concern about the appropriate uniform size for your child, please refer to the attached Nike sizing charts.

All uniforms must be ordered ASAP, as there is considerable lead time to get the new uniforms from Nike and we want to ensure they arrive before the fall season kicks-off in late August. Step 5: Schedules

Please note Fall outdoor practice will start Monday, August 17 and continue through Friday, November 6th.

The leagues are targeting the weekend of September 12th/13th to begin match play. Some teams may also play in a nearby preseason tournament the weekends of August 22nd or 29th.

We’ll send you more detailed information about the Fall tournament schedule and proposed Fall practice schedule once we hear back from the park district about our fall permits which is generally in early August.

For returning teams, we’ll try to keep the practice schedule as similar to the past year as possible and touch base with those on new teams to find times that work for as many players as possible.

Note: neither the YSSL nor NISL release their final league game schedules until late August so we won’t know the game schedule for quite a while. But rest assured we will get the fall game schedule in your hands ASAP and loaded on LeagueApps once we receive them so you can plan accordingly.
