Harold Workman
Coach, Administrator & IT
Harold grew up playing multiple sports including american football, baseball and wrestling.
Harold has worked in the IT industry for 25+ years leading corporations in bleeding edge technology.
Harold helps manage the administration of the club as well as fills in for coaching when needed. He also works in IT developing the website & maintaining the club app.

Angel Alvarez
GK Director & Coach
Angel grew up playing in Mexico and worked his way up to the semi-professional leagues before pursuing a career in coaching.
Angel is our Goalkeeper Director and the CEO/owner of “The Goalkeeper Factory”, a program that has helped to develop some of our best goalkeepers. From 2016 to 2019, Angel was an assistant coach for the Men’s Mount Carmel High School team.

Dylan Hansan
Coach
Dylan grew up playing in the Chicagoland area for Chicago Inter, Chicago Magic, and Cruzeiro Chicago Academy. At the U16 level, he trained with two youth academies in Croatia and Brazil and played with the varsity team all four years of high school at Carl Sanburg, where he was named all-conference and all-sectional. Post high school he spent five years playing at Florida Southern College, an NCAA Division 2 school that participates in the Sunshine State Conference. While at FSC Dylan also earned a bachelor’s degree in sports business management and a master’s degree in business administration.

Sarrah Ludwig
Coach
Sarrah grew up in the Chicagoland area playing for Roadrunners SC and Darien Dynamo/United Academy. She was captain of the varsity team at Downers Grove South High School where she was also named all-conference, all-sectional, and Female Athlete of the Year 2012. In 2012, Sarrah nearly broke the goal-scoring record and helped her team to 3rd in State. After High School, Sarrah played soccer at the NCAA Division One level at Valparaiso University from 2012-2016. At Valparaiso, she earned all-freshman honors, and solo captained the team from 2014-2016. In 2014 her team went undefeated the whole season and she scored the winning goal to win the Horizon League 2014 Conference Title. That same year the team made a NCAA tournament appearance.

John Roberts
Executive Director & Founder
John brings decades of playing and coaching experience to Wizard. As a youth player, he earned all-state honors in three states and was part of the U.S. national pool. John went on to play collegiately in the Big Ten conference and then internationally in Brazil.
While in Brazil, he appeared with Péle on Brazilian television with other top U.S. players being developed for international play.

Gui Nunes
Executive Director & Founder
Guilherme grew up in São Paulo, Brazil and played youth soccer for SE Palmeiras, AD São Caetano, A Portuguesa de Desportos, Paulista FC and União São João EC. Gui also played professionally for União São João and AD Guarulhos.
He moved to the United States in 2008 to play Collegiate soccer at Prairie State College and Illinois Institute of Technology.
Gui also has a Master in Sports Management from Rosevelt University & Master in Public Administration B.S. at IIT.
His hobbies are playing soccer, traveling and exploring new restaurants with his wife.

Chris Karabatis
Director of High School Coaching
Chris came to the United States from Greece as a child and grew up playing in the Chicagoland area. He attended and played for Nicholas Senn High School, where in his senior year he led his team to a Chicago public league championship and a third-place state finish.
After high school, he played at the collegiate level for Aurora University where he currently holds the record for the most goals scored in one game.
After one season with Aurora, he joined Greek-American SC, a semi-professional team out of New York. During his three years with Greek-American, he earned two league titles and one state cup.
In 1989, Chris was scouted to play in Greeces’ top professional division for Panathinaikos FC, a top 20 premier team in Europe.

Geraldo Almeida
Director of Youth Coaching
Geraldo grew up in Goiania, Goias - Brazil and played for many youth and professional clubs all over the world. From Goias Esporte Clube, Gremio E. M., Creti Minacu, Trindade in Brazil to S.L. Benfica B, G.D.R Monsanto (Portugal), and Caldes de Montbui in Spain.
Geraldo has U.S. Soccer A License, Premier and Advanced National Diploma (NSCAA), Technical Director B License (Conmebol), License A and Futsal License (Brazil).
Preto also has a Law degree and a Strategic Sports Management from Salgado de Oliveira University (Brazil).
